A Story from the Life of a Child
Every day is a new experience for everyone, especially for children. With so much to learn, to see, and to do, life is full of wonder and awe. At the same time, there are many obstacles to overcome in daily living, for which we all need a helping hand.
Some stories here are written by children about their daily lives, while other updates are written by staff, who have had the privilege of caring for the children and enriching their lives.

With the departure of the first two graduates leaving the Center of Hope in Lap Thach, there were two vacant positions to be filled. One child was admitted in July, a 10 year old girl named Thu. She is still in the process of making the transition to life in a family of 40-some brothers and sisters, so please remember her.
Usually, a child feels very comfortable and happy at the Center of Hope within a one-month transition period, though the dynamics of living in a large group setting can be challenging for longer periods.
GEDA is still reviewing information in the selection process for the second vacancy.
